Hi all.
Does anyone have any pointers on converting a 3D bluray to DCP? The
bluray which is the source in this case has the 3D encoded as MVC. From
my reading, this means the right eye picture is encoded as a separate
stream (which is a delta from the left eye).
Have ripped the bluray with MakeMKV which recognises that it's an MVC-3D
stream. And the file it outputs appears to be the right size so I think
MakeMKV is not dropping the extra stream or something like that.
But I haven't found any software that can display both eyes at present.
DCP-o-matic doesn't see it, and nor does Bino 3D player or VLC.
I'm on Mac but can get hold of a Windows box if I need to.
Anyone encountered this before?
Many thanks,
Jim
Hi,
I made dcp format for the cinema, but in the cinema they can't play it correctly. The colors are different (the picture below).
I don't have already any idea how to fix it.
Could you please help me?
Thank you!

This seems to be a Microsoft OneDrive issue, so for now, don't create DCP-o-matic projects within a OneDrive folder. Create projects/DCPs in a different directory, and if for some reason you want them to be synced with OneDrive, copy/move them to OneDrive later after finishing.

Hi there,
When you did File -> New and you saw this box:
https://dcpomatic.com/manual/html/screenshots/video-new-film.png
what does it say next to "create in folder" and what did you put in for
"film name" ?
Sorry for all the questions --- we are just trying to work out what is
going wrong.
All the best,
Carl

Could this be a specific onedrive issue?
Sounds as if he wants to overwrite an existing DCP, but instead of the DOM confirm overwrite dialog, onedrive does something on it's own?
Joel - can you try to create that project somewhere else, e.g. on your desktop?
- Carsten
Can you send me the metadata.xml file from inside your project's folder?

Were you creating a new project? Adding content? Did you just click "Make
DCP"?

Hi there,
Can you describe what you did that lead up to this error?
Thank you,
Carl

I am having issues with your program
Could not make DLP
Boost::Filesystem::Create_directory:Can not create a file when the file already exists:
“C:\Users\Galle\onedrive\documents\”
Sent from Mail for Windows 10
Hi,
I have a short un-encrypted DCP that passes my quality control tests and
plays in DCPomatic but won't ingest on a Sony Server or TMS. (I didn't
author it. It was authored by Clipster by a NY office of a major
distributor/ DCP authoring...the NY branch often has issues)
I'm wondering if it is possible to re-wrap the DCP in DCPomatic using the
DCP assets of the DCP I have...the assets seem good.
Thanks!
Joaquin
