[DCP-o-matic] 3D problem since DCP-o-matic 2.12.2 version

Hi Carl, I just wanted to report a bad bug that occured in 2.12.2 version and that goes on til the last one : 2.12.9 version. DCP o Matic crashes each time you want to make a 3D DCP (I tested Linux and windows versions and it's the same) I made several test and the only solution to make a 3D DCP is to downgrade to version 2.10.5 that works without any problem. [DCP-o-matic] DCP Package for local drive in movie theater - HELP

Hello, I am having some issues, this was my first time creating a DCP set of files as a buddy wanted me to make a commercial for a local drive in movie theater, so I made the MP4 video out of still pictures and logos and some backgrounds and music. I then took my finished MP4 and used DCP-o-matic to convert to the files needed on the Barco DP2K-23B projector used at the theater well we play it and the whole video is highlighted like pink. So then i am confused and download the player to check it at home but it plays the same file with no pink at home so now I am lost hoping the player would do the same thing so i could trouble check. Any thoughts on what I should do?

[DCP-o-matic] Merging test versions into stable

Hi Carl. I'm just wondering how/when you go about merging commits from the test version into stable branch? For example, a feature request I made (https://dcpomatic.com/mantis/view.php?id=1284) was implemented in test version 2.13.19. Since then, stable 2.12.6 has been released but does not contain this commit. Stable releases since 2.12.2 are bug fix releases. However, what confuses me is that there are many more bug fixes which have been committed to the test branch. So there's obviously some criteria for what makes it through to stable and what doesn't. If you can be bothered, can you explain the release strategy a little bit? And do you have a rough timeline of when the next stable release is likely to be? Just asking as I'm planning ahead to an upcoming festival and wondering what version to settle on. Many thanks, Jim

[DCP-o-matic] Christie cert database?

Hi all. Is there anyone out there who has access to Christie's certificate database and would be willing to look up a couple of certs for me? Have a show on Friday and we're using mobile projectors which are currently locked in a warehouse in middle of nowhere, so it'd be a pain to get them out to extract the certs from them. Hi all, DCP-o-matic 2.12.8 is now available from https://dcpomatic.com/download This is a bug-fix release which corrects some problems with 2.12.6, and provides a couple of small improvements: Fix failure to load image files with non-ASCII pathnames. Fix some reel length errors at the end of transcodes. Prevent the introduction of negative trims (which cause encoding errors). Assume .jpf files are JPEG2000 images. Fix the update checker (#1338). When I google Premiere update color shift – many answers, some recent, many old. =-=-= The right color space depends on the capabilities of the equipment that you are using, the client’s release format, and importantly for you, the archive format. A library has value only if it keeps up with current trends. For example, a VHS format and color space has little value today – it is unwatchable and cannot be upgraded easily or well. And more than one streaming service is demanding P3 4K minimum. All trends are toward more and better pixels: How soon 2020? The best that the client can afford today! But you are the client!!! The trend in the standards world is toward a high grade mezzanine format for archiving and a lot of metadata for different iterations and evolutions. SMPTE ST2065 – Academy Color Encoding Specification (ACES),and ST 2067 – Interoperable Mastering Format (IMF) detail the entire path from production to various forms of exhibition…and those standards continue to be worked on. I don’t have a specific answer to “Right Color Space for Premiere” but it seems that the answer is a constantly improving workflow for deliverables that are going to be under constant pressure for better and interchange software that will help advance that. [DCP-o-matic] Re-using source video with re-encoding

Does anyone know if it's possible to build a DCP with DCP-o-matic that repeats a source file a number of times, but only encodes it once? So essentially the CPL would point to the same asset multiple times. I'm adding the source video multiple times in the content tab, and then selecting "split by video content" for reels. Would be very happy is some of you can help me out if these warnings affect the quality of the final DCP and if I can assume that the DCP will be OK. Hi Carl, I keep getting this error message from dcp. It's the first time I've seen this message and I've been using DCP for over a year now.. I've tried on 2 different computers. Both PC and Mac, and both are giving me the same error message. I'm in a bit of a crunch as I have ads that have to start playing at our theatre before tomorrow. Any help is greatly appreciated! [DCP-o-matic] dcpomatic player 2 stalling when opening in mac?

Hi all, I'm trying to open DCPomatic Player 2 (version 2.12.5) on a mac i7 with current software and it keeps hanging on "Verifying..." but then eventually opens after about 5 minutes. [DCP-o-matic] Encoding servers: error during async_read

Got 1G lan, 1 master, 3 slaves. Slaves are E5-2687W’s @ 3 GHz. Master is seeing all 3 slaves in encoding servers list (with threads info 48). Source material is 12-bit tiffs with 9 MB each. We’re seeing a lot less throughput than expected: ~ 6 fps. On the slaves status says ~ 0.1 - 0.2 fps respectively. Log messages on the slaves’ status panes have a lot of “error during async_read ([numbers 10009 and 10054 mostly])” messages. Occasionally logs list an encoded frame with roughly these numbers: receive up to 23 seconds, encode 1 second, send up to 1 second. What could we check? Kind regards, Wolfgang

Create projects/DCPs in a different directory, and if for some reason you want them to be synced with OneDrive, copy/move them to OneDrive later after finishing. - Carsten

[DCP-o-matic] Is it possible to re-wrap DCPs in DCP-o-matic?

Hi, I have a short un-encrypted DCP that passes my quality control tests and plays in DCPomatic but won't ingest on a Sony Server or TMS. (I didn't author it. It was authored by Clipster by a NY office of a major distributor/ DCP authoring...the NY branch often has issues) I'm wondering if it is possible to re-wrap the DCP in DCPomatic using the DCP assets of the DCP I have...the assets seem good. Hi, Thanks so much for the free software - I will make sure we donate towards it. I do have a question regarding the making of DCPs - we are struggling with creating them for a cinema. The bottom right hand side of the DCP when projected on to the screen curves up a little. Could this be to do with not converting the DCP into the correct ratio or the fact the cinema has a curved screen? For example a 1.78 ratio DCP has been made into 2.39 scope as I thought it selected them automatically. I hope you can help me understand. Hi all, I compared the font size in a movie in DCPomatic Player to the same section in another player (Neo-DCP) and noticed that they were not the same. I did this test because in DCPomatic the subtitles of a Scope aspect ratio movie were spilling outside of the image area. So I compared it in the other player and the font size and position were much different and didn't fall outside of the Scope image in the other player. I was wondering if the specs for subtitles playback come from the xml in the VF folder Dcpomatic Player? [DCP-o-matic] choosing from multiple VF's in Player

Hi all, I'm noticing that if there are multiple VF's on a DCP that there isn't a way to choose which VF you want to watch. For instance as in the case I'm looking at now, there is a Dutch language OV with a French subtitle VF and an English subtitle VF but DCP-o-matic will only show the French sub VF...but when I look at it on the server both VF's appear. Another player that I sometimes use, Neo-DCP Player accomplishes this by referring to the asset map which lists the various VF versions and allows you to choose between them. Is this something that might be possible in DCP-o-matic Player? That would be great if so! Thanks so much! Joaquin

[DCP-o-matic] Educational use

Is there a sort of site license that we could obtain for that? [DCP-o-matic] DCP rejected by QC

Hi Carl and all. I've just had a DCP rejected at QC by Motion Picture Solutions. The film is being distributed by a major studio (though it's a one-day release, so not as big a deal as that sounds, it's really not big budget). Foolish of me to get involved - I knew they'd run the DCP through a QC process which was going to be incredibly tight, and I did fear a fail based on something nitpicky. And so it is. Damn me for just trying to help out! There's a wider issue about how it might advantage market leaders to ensure that DCPs created with "unprofessional" tools like DCP-o-matic are branded as "faulty". But that's a rant for another day! Anyway, below are the details I've been given so far. Of course, if any chance of a swift fix, that'd be great. But more importantly I hope this may be an opportunity to harden DCP-o-matic and get it one step closer to being viewed on the same level as the big boys. Here's the info: DCP made using DCP-o-matic 2.10.5 on Mac OS 10.12.6. 2K Flat, Interop, 24fps, 20 minute reels. Made from ProResHQ 1080p 25fps. The DCP is encrypted. Signing and encryption keys are the ones DCPoM made automatically. The reason given by MPS for QC fail is: /"The cpl has been incorrectly signed - UTF8 rather than ASN.1// // //The following flag occurred on ingest: Hashed OK, but with flags such as these in Wailua:// // //crt=mp+ROXiXhhwYBtsBVkeaURJZD5s=;String encoding of Issuer O is not ASN.1 PRINTABLESTRING: "UTF8STRING"// // //Now, whilst not a major issue – I wanted to flag it with you. [DCP-o-matic] multithreading while playing J2K...

There is a compute thread setting in DOM that is used for J2K encoding. In think one of the more recent code improvements was to do J2K DECODING while playing DCPs multithreaded as well. While I appreciate that I have 0 dropped frames in the player at 1/4 res, I notice that my 4core/HT MacBook only uses 4 threads while playing. And even these are only loaded 50%. I am nearly sure this machine could do at least 1/2 res decoding, without dropped frames, if not full res. Is there a way to improve this? How does the stand alone player decide how many threads to use? Or is OS X doing the thread distribution? Wouldn't it be useful if DOM (main app) would use 1/4res when playing DCPs in preview as well, and per default? The preview window is probably not much larger in most working environments anyway. - Carsten

[DCP-o-matic] 'Maximum number of frames to store per thread'

[DCP-o-matic] Dolby TrueHD issues

2.11.24 looks good with Dolby TrueHD streams, also 7.1. Although it starts recalculating the audio when I switch from 5.1 to 7.1 (12ch) DCP to see the BSL/BSR channels. Maybe it's better to include all available audio channels in the input file for analysis right from the start? Or maybe DOM does that already, but is false triggered towards a new analysis if the DCP audio arrangement is changed? No big deal for short pieces, but for full length features, it is annoying if another 20min analysis run is started, especially since R128 proves to be very useful now and I would advise everyone to do perform the full audio analysis. It also appears as if calculating audio is now a lot faster than before (2.11.22) - at least for the 7.1 THD full length feature, it now only takes around 13min, compared to around 45min for the 5.1 ac3 version yesterday. Yes, the 5.1 ac3 analysis also computes much faster now with .24 - a mere 6min! I notice that the more audio streams in the input file, the longer it takes - probably approx. the same time for each stream, or every single audio channel adds up. So it is certainly wise to only include the necessary streams in the MKV, or to extract unnecessary streams before with an MKV splitter. While I understand it's busy at DOM-HQ, may I hint again at: http://dcpomatic.com/mantis/view.php?id=835 because it is probably very easy to implement coloring the graph legend ;-) - Carsten

The issue I’m having is a video that was sent in that is a ProRes/.mov video that is 7.1 sound is not automatically populating the sound channels for DCP-O-Matic. Can you help me with this issue? I knew the Content->'Scale to fit menu' would come over us at one time... ;-) These two options 'Scale to fit' are basically shortcuts to fill the screen in an easy way - but they usually cause cropping in an uncontrolled way. They should go under the list of other ScaleTo options, but for some reason at the time, there was no space there for it. It's been a while, but I remember no one was really happy with that solution. Normally, DCP-o-matic detects the aspect ratio of footage automatically, if it is flagged correctly, and if there is no letterboxed content. So, in your case, DOM did probably select 16:9/1.78, and then all you need to do is to confirm the flat container under DCP as far as scaling/aspect ratio goes. Some people say that 150MBit/s is enough. Yes, may be, but, the 'standard' spec goes up to 250MBit/s, and, with 30fps, you could need a bit more. Chances are high your footage doesn't need it, but as 16:9 is 'near' full frame, and at 30fps, just choose 200MBIt/s and then forget about that setting. If you're picky, use 235MBit/s, but don't try 250! Yes, you need to crunch through the full file again if you changed the data rate, as that concerns every single frame from the beginning. DCP-o-matic should start encoding from scratch when you change the datarate, but it also could be a point for a nice little bug (I doubt it). - Carsten

Choose 'Audio'->Show graph of audio levels Do you have a listing of True Peak, Integrated loudness and loudness range on the bottom of that window? Tell us the value for 'Integrated loudness'. If there is no such value given, you probably performed the audio analysis before you ticked the advanded audio analysis in prefs. In that case, safe your project, exit DOM, got to the project folder, find and delete a folder 'analysis' within in. Restart DOM, reload your project, select 'Audio'->'Show graph of audio levels'. DOM should now take a bit longer to analyse the audio levels, and should show True Peak, Integrated loudness and loudness range. - Carsten

Hi Carl, I am using the DCP-omatic to convert my film for a festival. I'm having a bit of trouble and hope you can help me. It was shot in 30fps, but the programs says that is an unusual frame rate. Should I change it to 24, and if so, do I just change it under the DCP tab? I want to make sure the video quality won't be compromised. But it sounds like it's okay to leave it at 30, from what I've heard. The program is also advising that I create an SMPTE DCP instead of an interop, because of the frame-rate. What is the difference? Should I do that? Also, under the DCP tab, I set the container to 16:9, but the program is saying if possible to put it in scope or flat, but those aren't the right size of my film, and leave those black edges on the sides of the picture. Please help me if you could. I've been working on this for a few days, and have to complete it soon for it to show in the festival. Thank you! Josh

[DCP-o-matic] Very slow MacPro encoding

About 4 fps in a 12-core MacPro, configured with the default 24 threads. We have seen much better speeds in this same configuration. Tested with MKV and Prores sources, with some image modifications, and no modifications at all. Also tried on a network, with the MacPro as an encoding server and the laptop with the project not doing any JP2K encoding. Slightly lower speed as expected. The server log at the MacPro was giving about 5 seconds per frame, tha seems pretty high to me. I recently installed the latest test version 2.11.16, and trying to troubleshoot I tried with the also installed stable version from late December, with same speed result. Are OSX packages statically compiled? or installing the newer test version may have "damaged" some library shared with the older version? Anyone else have or had a similar problem? Thanks! Manuel AC

[DCP-o-matic] Rec709 vs BT1886 for DCP

Hi Carl, I have color graded a project in Resolve 12.5, color management is set to Rec.709 gamma 2.4, monitored the same on a Flanders. Taking it in to DCP-O-matic and I see the Rec.709 preset is locked at 2.2. If I change the gamma it changes the preset to BT1886. Is it safe to say this would be correct? I have seen debate as to whether BT1886 is the same as Rec709, but with a 2.4 gamma spec. I'm not an expert on this. Thanks in advance and thank you for the work you do on this software. There had been some discussion on this list about using Raspberry PIs for DCP making and checking. Hi John, approx one minute in 30min sounds like a 24/25fps issue. That IS usually no issue, you are free to generate a DCP with either 24 or 25 fps in both SMPTE or INTEROP format - except if you operate a Dolby DSS100/DSP100, which is not able to play 25fps. There are still quite a few DSS100/DSP100 around, so if there is a chance your DCP might end up on one of those, you should also create a 24fps version. Hi, I am using DCP -o - matic to create a DCP from a video file that runs 30 minutes. In the authoring process it is adding an extra minute of black at the end. As this is part of a scheduled show it is causing problems with the timing of what comes afterwards as well as causing our projectionists to think that there has been some sort of failure! [DCP-o-matic] Little help need → dvd to dcp

Hi… …not the first time I do that but today I fail… DCP-O-Matic 2.10.5 git 61b5d4ad8 on Ubuntu 14.04. I have a dvd to convert to dcp. First thing I did was concatenate the 4 vob into one file : cat VTS_01_1.VOB VTS_01_2.VOB VTS_01_3.VOB VTS_01_4.VOB | ffmpeg -i - brialy.mp4 Then I use some personal script to get some kind of 5.1 sound → file becomes brialy_51.mov Now in DCP-o-Matic conversion always stops @ same number of images ( about 4500 ). There's some warning in log @ line 2407 FFmpeg: Warning: data is not aligned! This can lead to a speedloss Files attached are log, ffprobe.log andmy script for 5.1 upmix. I suspect more has to be done regarding « concatenate » the vob into one single. Any hints / help welcome. Best regards, Gerald

[DCP-o-matic] Dolby TruHD audio analyze

Hi all. Every now I get a BD that needs to be converted to DCP, usually because the content isn't out on DCP or it's a pre-release for a special screening of some sorts. This time the BD content actually has a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 track, which is the obvious choice, as the screening is in a 7.1 room. As I usually do, I create a mkv file with subtitles and the desired track by using MakeMKV. DOM sees both the subtitle track and the 7.1 audio track which I can then map accordingly when I set ''12 - 7.1/HI/VI However, when clicking the 'analyze audio' button, everything comes to a halt. After churning for 3 hours, the ETA was 273 hours! :D That is somewhat excessive and I am thinking there might be a bug somewhere, as I can see Carsten and others have mentioned in the forums (DOM and Film-Tech) that they successfully have used Dolby TrueHD tracks in their DCPs. I'd rather not waste the time encoding the DCP if the levels are too high, so maybe someone can comment on this behavior? DOM v2.10.5 Win10 Pro Best regards, Jonathan

[DCP-o-matic] XYZ image sequence colour problems

Hi all. I'm trying to make a DCP from a TIFF image sequence. The post house providing the image sequence say that it's XYZ colour space. But when I create a DCP from it, it comes out with a green tinge. I've used colour conversion "none" setting and this is on DCP-o-matic v2.10.5. I don't have access to a projector, so am judging the success (or not) of the conversion using two methods: 1. Viewing in Easy DCP Player demo 2. Converting DCP to ProResHQ Quicktime with ffmeg (ffmpeg -i j2c_...mxf -c:v prores -profile:v 3 output.mov) Here's an example still from the sequence: http://www.cinebox.co/clock.tiff. The clock should be white but instead has a green tinge. I can see 4 possibilities: 1. DCP-o-matic is erroneously introducing a green hue 2. I'm using wrong settings in DCP-o-matic 3. My methods for viewing the resulting DCP aren't colour-accurate 4. The image sequence isn't in fact XYZ Can anyone offer any suggestions? Many thanks, Jim

[DCP-o-matic] Video getting cut by the edges

Dear, We converted a video and via the program it showed that it was fine but when we played it through the Projector it cut of some of the video via sides. We had wording on the sides of the video and it cut off. The Video resolution was 2048x858. Via the program we saved it via 2 types. 16x9 flat and full frame flat.(16x9 didn't cut but it went skew. Our projector can display 2k. Is there anyway of fixing this issue or converting it via a different scale or anything we can do by our end. Regards Armand

Now, under DCP make a checkbox at ‚Video‘ - ‚3D' The Left Eye/Right Eye selector will then become active below the preview image, and you can switch between left eye only and right eye only for preview. And the jitter goes away. Then hit ‚Make DCP‘. So, in short words - you need to tell DCP-o-matic which 3D format your source is, and tell DCP-o-matic you actually want to create a 3D DCP. - Carsten

You have to configure the proper content 3D type so DCO-o-matic knows where to look for the left and right side images in your content. I’ll try this one and see wether it works for me... - Carsten

As such, DCP-o-matic can not create a 3D DCP from it. It can not do depth-conversion from 2D to 3D. It can of course do a ‚flat‘ conversion, that is, create a 3D DCP that looks like 2D (L and R eye identical). But that makes no sense usually as most projection systems can play 2D and 3D content mixed anyway (doing the same thing, duplicating L/R on the fly during playout to keep the whole playlist in 3D mode). - Carsten

Hi Carl, I hope you're well. I did email you a while ago regarding encrypted DCPs but I've hit a new unrelated wall I'm hoping you can help with. So I'm hoping to rip this crappy 30fps NTSC DVD that's 1:66:1 "floating" in a 16:9 container. I've done all the zoom ups, re-sized and re-edited the subs and my master MOV file is free of deinterlacing errors. I'm very happy with it....well, as happy as you can be from such a crappy source :-/ But here's the very weird thing. DCP'ing "creates" visible deinterlacing errors?? Ones not present (or atleast visible on the master file) but very pronounced on the DCP. [cid:image003.jpg@01D2DC72.F21C9E70] I suspect it's picking up on imperfections in the image?? Never had this with DCP O'Matic before, it usually does the opposite and removes the imperfections?? The obvious suggestion is to re-encode using one of your de-interlacing filters...the trouble is that's what you're looking at above, the second pass with the first filter enabled :( All it seemed to do was smear the image. Do you have any advice with this? I don't want to keep doing multiple passes and hit the same issues as sadly the film is feature length with no other masters available :( Huge thanks as always. Secondly, i have created for the first time a dcp and i am bit worried about the sound.In detail, you say at your manual (7.2 Show audio) that 0dB represents full scale so if there is anything near this we are in danger of clipping the projector's audio inputs.What exactly are the dangers?And secondly i hava attached a print screen of my audio show.Could you please check it and if it is not good could you please advice me how to change it? [DCP-o-matic] Kinothek Stuttgart. Installationsproblem ...

Hello together, sorry for taking your time. Perhaps you can answer me, if you are so kind. Thank you very much. We are using DCP-o-matic for a long time, exclusively till now for making slides without audio tracks. There were no problems. Just till now. After received error messages, we uninstalled the whole program, and we installed it new (site: dcpomatic.com). After downloading and doing the whole procedure (>executing>setup wizard>licence agreement>destination folder C:\Program Files\DCP-o-matic 2>choose components) there is a window with the error message: Error opening file for writing (C:\Programfiles\DCP-o-matic2\bin\libintl-8.dll), then the installing process doesn´t continue (Can´t write). What´s wrong? Perhaps there´s a little link for it, otherwise I have to instruct my system supervisor to have a look. Kind regards from Stuttgart. Kinothek Stuttgart. [DCP-o-matic] 3D Slide show generation very slow V2.10 compared to version 1.79

I used DCP-o-matic 1.79 2 years ago to successfully run a 3D convention in the UK. After 2 years I now have to do some more and loaded version 2.10.5 I am only trying to generate a test slide show of still images and where version 1.79 rips through in no time version 2.10 is taking for ever. It is as if it isn't realising it is using the same still image for all 240 frames of 10 seconds and doing the same calculations over and over again which 1.79 certainly didn't appear to do, it distinctly did it for one frame and quickly repeated it. Is there a setting I need to change or is it a bug in some new code? I am primarily using it on a MAC with OS-X 10.6.8 But I have just downloaded the latest version to a PC with Windows 10 and although it is 10 times quicker as a machine it still took 5 minutes to generate a 6 image slideshow of 10 seconds each. Any help appreciated. Andrew

I just thought to test with 3D turned off on both content and output and it behaves as I would expect creating the slide show in a matter of seconds. I then tried 2D Content to 3D output which is quick and 3D content to 2D output equally quick. Changing the input scaling each time to force regeneration of the video files. Only 3D content to 3D output slows down and just munches through every frame like its never seen it before. Hope that helps, and may be explains why the bug has gone unnoticed, there won't be many of us making 3D slide shows. [DCP-o-matic] Sony Encrypted SMPTE Test

Okay, I tried a KDM created by KDM-Studio, and it didn’t work. Same result as with the KDMs created by DCP-o-matic directly. I don’t create KDMs too often, so I had to rethink the whole process, here is what I did: I had created the SONY as a screen in KDM Studio before. For the same DCP-o-matic project I created SMPTE KDMs for, I created a DKDM using the certificate KDM-Studio provides. No complaints. I created a new screen in DCP-o-matic using this certificate, and created a KDM (DKDM) for it. I created a new production and booking in KDM Studio with this DKDM. I made sure all the windows fit. Then issued KDMs, received them via email (see below), and ingested them on the Sony. Ingested the feature on the Sony. KDM was shown attached to the feature as in all my previous Sony tests. [DCP-o-matic] Pleeeeeeeeze...!

Okay, before I go to sleep, I want to say something: There is currently a limitation in DCP-o-matic concerning encrypted SMPTE DCPs that won’t play on Sony SRX-R515/510 systems. This bugs us for more than two years now. Or even since the 515 was launched. You will not believe how much time/effort Carl (with some minor help of some other people) put’s into resolving this. Things like this typically go mostly unnoticed, because it doesn’t actually sell as a new feature. And all this while Carl, among other things, is working hard on implementing audio in preview, and DCP export. So. Pleeeeeeeeeze! [DCP-o-matic] mute audio sub wav file

Hi Carl ,.. Thank you for all the time you've spent making DCP-o-matic for the rest of us. It is gratefully appreciated. I have a Final Cut Pro exported MXF file with video and audio. I want to mute the audio then substitute a WAV file for the audio that's in the Final Cut Pro MXF file. I can Import the Final Cut Pro MXF and the WAV files into the DCP film I'm making; and, I'm guessing I can go to the Audio map for the MXF file and de-select everything. Then, select the WAV file, go to the Audio Map for the WAV file and route the audio to the DCP channels .. Will this do the trick? Or, is there a better way to mute the audio in the MXF file and substitute the WAV audio for it? When I look at the Audio map for the Final Cut Pro MXF file, it comes out as a Single channel (Center) - and it doesn't sound like Stereo. The WAV file - IS - Stereo, I can hear it. I wish I had 5.1 audio to work with but I had the audio Mastered as Stereo (this is before I started to learn about DCP's from reading your DCP-o-matic manual ..). Also, the Timing of the MXF video and the WAV audio is sync'ed; so, I think it should come out sync'ed in the DCP or will that change when I make the DCP?
