Hi Carl,
I tried it but had just the same "Error:" message.
Maybe it can be a problem that I use external HDD as a source? Or sg like that?
The output goes to an internal "data" HDD.
Thank you and best regards,
Péter

Hi Péter,
I think this is some error in reading your encrypted DCP. Unfortunately, due to a bug in
DCP-o-matic the details of the error are being lost before they get into the log.
Perhaps you could install this version
which is the current stable release with an added fix to get a better error message when
your transcode fails.
If you could repeat your job with that version and re-send the log that would be great.
Best,
Carl

Dear Carl, Dear Colleagues,
I have a new difficulty meanwhile I trying to decrypt a DCP.
I have received the DKDM to the leaf certificate, confirmed by Carl. You can find
attached:
· My certificate
· The DKDM
· The CPL file of the DCP
· Error message
I imported the DCP then added the DKDM, and started to make a new DCP.
It starts without any problem but around 70% it makes an error and
stops. I have tried to re-download the DCP via Aspera again, but had the same issue. I
have tried on 2 different Windows 10 computer one have Nvidia, other have is AMD video
card, with the same DCP-O-Matic 2.12.6. And on the AMD computer there appeared the
attached error message.
Could you please advise what to try? Or what can be the problem?
I have just updated the latest DCP-O-Matic to the Nvida computer, and trying the same
process again, we will see, what happens.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Péter

Dear Carl,
It seems I have found have found the solution
for this project, the conclusion is that the error is on my side, I have tried with a
wrong DKDM, which was sent to an other project.
Thank you very much anyway!

Dear Carl,
Thank you for your quick answer!
Sure, please find attached the CPL.
I made the certificate in DCP-o-Matic KDM
generator, and modified
inside "Keys tabs", in the "Advanced" section, the 3 first row,
which is some kind of description of the certificate. Than exported
the
certificate, and sent to the lab who gave the (D)KDM. The interesting
part is, that I have already received a working (D)KDM, which I was able to decrypt an
other DCP, please find this DKDM attached as well.
Best regards,
Péter

have made a certificate, which you can see attached, and received a (D)KDM for it, you can
see attached as well.
How did you make the certificate?
Can you send the CPL file from your DCP?
> Maybe I received the KDM for the wrong
certificate to the wrong chain part? Leaf instead of root, or backward?
It looks like the KDM is made for the leaf
certificate, which is right.
Best,
Carl
