Okay - I will make an offer - if David supplies a downloadable image for the Model II B to
me, I will buy a bunch of these at the quoted price of 35€, test them in a multi-device
environment, then resell them to anyone on this list interested (within europe) for the
same price (and we'll find a deal on low cost shipping).
That way we can get a test going quickly regarding network saturation etc., and wether
it's really worth the effort.
I have a 24port fast HP Gigabit Switch and all the necessary other equipment (power
supplies, USB cables, network cables, etc).
Anyone interested? To get useful numbers, I guess we need at least 5, better 10.
But I think we need to get this going fast, since at that price, supplies won't last
long, and I don't know wether he will be able to supply more PIs at the same price.
Actually I will contact this shop owner directly and ask him wether he can make a better
price for 10, and without involving ebay.
