Hello,
sometimes one picture speaks better, so it's attached.
It's DCP-o-Matic 1.65
There are two surprising things :
- it's a 9 seconds long video, made of 216 .png frames, 24 fps. As
you can see on the right the progress playback bar ends at 179
frames / 7 seconds and ten frames. I can see that with other /
longer contents too : preview and progress bar don't go to the
"real" end of the content (only 3439 frames with a 2 min 18 seconds
19 frames trailer in 25fps, where 3469 expected)
- Here I have used images sequence + one 5.1 wav file. Opened with
Audacity, this sound lasts 9 seconds and exactly 216 frames.
DCP-o-matic seems to find one more frame, and if I cut one frame
from the end, it displays 8 seconds and 24 frames : is that any
different from 9 seconds ?
I have noticed another thing that won't show on the picture attached
:
- if you change the DCP frame rate, durations are not immediatly
updated, you have to switch between tabs back and forth to see
updating.
- there is no warning if sound and number of frames are not same
duration - intended ?
Best regards,
Gérald
