Yes, that would make more sense - I guess it has been more like that in
the past, but not any more (for some reason).
It's a good idea to at least move the mailing list link from the
"get help" selection to the "development" section - thanks!

Hi all,
I have been thinking for a while about switching off these mailing lists
(users and announce) and just leaving the archives on the web site.
For some time there has been very little traffic, and the messages we do
get are usually from people who don't sign up to the list first, making
it fiddly to reply to them properly
It just seems like most people don't really get the "mailing list"
concept any more and are more comfortable on the forum.
Does anybody have any thoughts/strong feelings about that?
