Hallo Jax,
the video directory only hold's the video information. To clear up some of your
questions let me introduce to to a bit of DCP format definitions.
The "long" version you can find here ... (read my short first!) [1]
Short:
The DCP Format is not a "one file" based format but a "one directory"
format. In your case "the" DCP would be
"Test_FTR-1-30-F-178_20_2K_20160608......OV
Inside this directory you should find multiple files. Usually one audio file with
"pcm" in it's name and a video file (the biggest). Then there are some xml
files for metadata and checksums.
But there can be more files! Or even less! As the DCP Format also supports
"sound" only or "subtilte" only DCPs. They are by definition marked
with a _VF at the end of the directory.
Based on the partial directory name in your picture i can tell you that dcpomatic encoded
a stereo sound track.
Name Test_
Type FTR-
Verion 1-
Frames/s 30-
Format F-178
Sound 20_
Resolution 2K_
Enc-Date 20160608
Hope i could clear up some of your questions. Be sure to supply the whole Test_FTR_.....
to you projectionist. By the way, there is a special TST Type that can be used for testing
and therefore you don't need to label/name the video Test but give it a propper name

Hi Jax,
Do you mean when you play it back in DCP-o-matic?
That is only a
preview, and there is no sound (yet) so that is
normal.
Best,
Carl
