And in addition, things get worst with a more powerfull master...
I've also benchmarked Sintel encoding with a Xeon E3-1220v2 server as master (4 cores @3.5Ghz turbo mode) + RPi2 slave.
Gain is only 5 minutes less on a 1h40mn job, which makes only 0.17 fps for the RPi2...
I'm curious to learn more about the first guy who mentionned on this list +1 fps while encoding with his RPi2...

Agreed.
My first thought was for chromeboxes with 1.6 bunny-fps and Intel, so
no fancy compiling needed.
Power consumption, size, scalability... are certainly advantages, but
not for only 0.3 fps
Let's see how it develops.
