I'm inclined to just make DVD-o-matic always
output 5.1 or 7.1, inserting silence as appropriate. I have had a report where one
particular server (can't remember which) will not even play stereo audio ...
Any objections to that?
Hmm. checkbox 'optionally' ? Something like 'pad unallocated channels with
silence?'
