Hello again…
back to another solution : handbrake for converting the whole dvd folder
to one mkv
It seems to better work : encoding 43% 2h remaining, close to 12fps, no
hanging…
Keep fingers crossed, as I need that DCP for thursday evening…
As usual, many thanks to all of you, involved in that incredible piece
of software that is DCP-o-matic !
Best regards,
Gérald

I don't think DCP-o-matic's internal VOB concatenation will do
anything
more advanced than Gérald's cat command.
I'd try the MakeMKV
approach
first.
What would the Join command then do different than simply having these
VOBs in a sequence in DOM?
VOBs are chopped-up bits of a MPEG2 file without regard
to packet boundaries. Join sticks them back together, otherwise DoM expects a set of
independent files with their own headers and starting with a complete packet.
