Thanks Carsten. It is unencrypted... how do I go about ingesting it through the software?

When I go to File > Open…, it throws the error “metadata.xml does not exist”. The DCP I’m trying to ingest has been made with other software before being sent to me… It may be very simple but I’m at a loss.

Hi all,

We currently use DCP-o-matic 2 for creation, however, does anybody know if it’s possible to ingest a DCP received from a third party so we can convert to a broadcast format such as ProRes?

If it is unencrypted, or the third party supplies a (D)KDM, then yes.
