Yes, it seems this only occurs with encrypted DCPs. Our ICMP crashed (real hard) on the
first frame of every DCP they sent me.
It wasn't as bad with a DOM DCP (playback simply did not advance), but the log
contained the same error.

I was involved in this SW release in a way. We had a
severe ICMP crash in Sweden a while back with an Indian movie. It was a major release
(encrypted w English subtitles) from a "real" lab. The film stopped after 20
minutes and the ICMP crashed (same thing happened in both screens at this site).
We sent logfiles and a drive containing the DCP to Belgium. Barco made a test run in
Liege (I think) and the same thing happened there. Then this new SW version came out.
What they actually fixed I don´t know.

It seems the reason for this issue has been a flaw in the ICMP. Barco issued a new
software service release a few days ago with the documentation listing exactly the error I
was getting in the syslog:
Does anyone know what 'frame HMACs' are?
I have yet to install this software and test it with a DOM DCP, but I do assume it will
be fixed with it.
