ffprobe.log is just for debugging so you can ignore it if you like.

One other question: Does dcpomatic2_cli use the info in ffprobe.log? Or can it
be safely omitted from project folder? I use scripts to send the project files
to various computers to encode on, and it's simpler if only need to copy the
metadata.xml file.

I would suggest backing up these project files before upgrading. There
are no problems that I'm aware of.
