If your only intention for it was/is to use it for
image-sequence-for-video, then I would try to find a better name for
that button. If it can be used for other assets, then maybe not.
I don't see why not... if people are expecting that, it's probably
worth implementing it.
What would it do with video or audio? Could we stop it
from doing
anything with video or audio or subtitles?
So far it seems to appear to some people like a means to add one file
(Add file...) or multiple files (Add directory...).
It could be that... it could just add anything in that directory
(video, audio, subtitles, whatever). Or we could rename it and just
make it take images (like it does now).
