I was just wondering - how can I see the status of the

There's supposed to be an icon in the notification area, but there is a
lot of variability in where this "notification area" ends up in the
various desktop environments. I think there is a known problem of a
missing icon with Unity, if that's what you area using.
Also, is there a point to the dcpomatic2_server vs
dcpomatic2_server_cli ? I set the dcpomatic2_server_cli to autostart and open in a
terminal window outputting to
stdout (so I can see it operating), so I am covered on that end, but they are just idle
thoughts that I thought I'd ask.
No, they use the same back-end, dcpomatic2_server is just for the
command-line-averse.
Finally, is there any way to find out what the overall
fps for the
encoding was (not necessarily per encoding server, although that might
be neat) being stored in the log? I understand that I can simply
calculate number of frames divided by number of seconds that encoding
took, but I like to keep the logs to determine how it's all doing.
I can add that in.
Best regards,
Carl
