Ok, yeah it wasn't the file itself. It played fine when I lowered the playback resolution. So now the issue I'm having is I keep seeing a green and purple hue in every shot. Kind of like a chromenance thing? I'm not entirely sure if its the color format or an issue with the player, or an issue with color grading in the film itself. But I've never noticed this before. But attached is a screenshot from the film. if you look at the walls and his face you can see what I mean. It's like green and purple blotches. I'm new to color formats and dcp's as well, so this is a steep learning experience for me.

I would guess it's down to the player.  Does it allow you to play back

at a lower resolution?  Playing back at half size drops the required CPU

power.



It's not very scientific, but perhaps you could try some other DCPs and

see how they play?  e.g. the ones here:
