Wondering wether it is possible to encrypt a DCP after creation of an unencrypted version
without J2K compression? Because, very often (;-) I get the idea to encrypt only after the
DCP has been created.
I think a lot of first time users at least will make the same mistake (well, maybe
it's a mistake in itself to create an encrypted DCP as a first time user...). Given
the time it takes to create a short or full length feature, it would be nice if one could
simply encrypt an existing DCPs MXF files.
Waitaminute - I'll just give it a try myself ;-)
No - it doesn't work, when I create a DCP, then check the 'encrypted'
checkbox, then redo it, it runs through the J2k creation again.
Guess that's natural since it doesn't store intermedia j2c images. Reading from
the existing MXF would be one possibility.
