Hi Fred,
I think DKDM is generally taken to be a KDM targeted at a distributor's
system rather than a cinema projector / server. See:
The <Key> tag contains the symmetric key that was used to encrypt the MXF
files, as you want.
Does that make more sense?

Carl

Hi Carl,
I'm not sure to understand your answer :(
For me, DKDM stands for "Distribution KDM", i.e. the symetric key that was used
to encrypt both mxf files, and will be used to generate KDMs when computed with
servers public certificates.
Do you mean that the <key> xxxx </key> provided in metadata.xml is the DKDM?
Thanks,
Fred

Hi Fred
The raw key used to encrypt all the MXFs is in the tag in the
metadata.xml. If you want to create a DKDM you would need to use the
"Make KDMs" dialog, giving it the certificate that the DKDM should be
targeted at.

Hi,
When generating an encrypted DCP with DCP-o-matic, where can I find the DKDM in metadata
file?
What does it look like?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge :)
