on dcpomatic.com under Development, you will find a List of benchmark results for various types of computers/CPUs. Only the CPU itself and the type and interfacing of mass storage (e.g. SSD) is relevant for conversion speed. You can also network multiple machines to speed up conversion (not unlimited, though).
