Yes, you can. There are three ways to do this:
- load the DCP
- load the individual assets
- recompress
If the DCP loads okay, then simply create a new DCP. This will fix problems in
metadatafiles. If the DCP can not load into dcp-o-matic, you may need to load the video
and audio assets and create a new DCP from these two MXF. You may need to trim-off leaders
or sync-pops, eventually even resync the audio. It will still only rewrap/repackage.
If it's the actual assets that cause the problem on the Sony, but they play well in
dom, then you may need to recompress them.
The easiest way to do this is to either load the DCP or the MXFs, then apply a single
line/pixel of cropping from any side. That will trigger a recompression.
For recompression, I would set the data rate to something higher, like 230MBit/s.

Hi,
I have a short un-encrypted DCP that passes my quality control tests and plays in
DCPomatic but won't ingest on a Sony Server or TMS. (I didn't author it. It was
authored by Clipster by a NY office of a major distributor/ DCP authoring...the NY branch
often has issues)
I'm wondering if it is possible to re-wrap the DCP in DCPomatic using the DCP assets
of the DCP I have...the assets seem good.
Thanks!
Joaquin
