For a single frame duration it works as an image sequence, already supported.
I have said a few times that I don't like when dcpomatic do too many
"video" things, like having a timeline. But, your proposed feature
would have been useful recently with a couple cases of material
produced at 50fps by error that needed to be changed to 25fps for
compatibility. The prores can be done anywhere but a 50 fps DCP, well,
not so easy to modify except in dcpomatic2 ;)
On a related note, for those of you that doesn't know it meet JES
deinterlacer
http://jeschot.home.xs4all.nl/home.html That thing is
amazing at changing framerate.

Hello,
I know it will sound weird but this might be useful for creating short
animated DCP from still images :
is there a way to set the duration/length of one still image to, well, the
length of one frame depending on the framerate, most commonly 1/24 second ?
We could even imagine an "animation" mode to the length table where duration
would be displayed in number of frames (instead of time actually)…
Any thoughts or advices ?
Best regards,
Gérald
