I asked that question on ISDCF and while there is no clear written guideline on it, it was generally agreed that silence is to be included in the CPL name.

Sorry, you're right. There is indeed the "10" moniker for center channel mono. But I think it shall stand for a true 1-channel asset which will (in the future) be routable via labels. Well, let's ask someone who really knows :)

I think a 6-channel audio asset should always use the "51" moniker, no matter if there's silence in some channels.
