Hi,
Is there somewhere more details on syntax if using DCPomatic thru CLI?
I've tried ">dcpomatic --help" and ">dcpomatic_cli --help"
but there is not much to drink and I'm really thirsty...
I recently tried to use the GUI server on a 2 core machine and noticed
the CPU load was not at 100%. I tried to use -t 4 with the GUI server,
but it didn't work - it's only an option on the CLI version.
Carl, would the GUI encode server and batchconverter take over the thread setting from
the full GUI version preferences?
Yes, at the moment the GUI server and batch converter will read the
DCP-o-matic config file and use the setting from that. If no such file
exists, they will try to guess the best number of threads to use by asking
the operating system how many cores are available.
Best regards
Carl
