The lower bitrate will only apply for reencoded parts. For example when
burning in subtitles. To my knowledge there is not yet an option to force a
full reencode.
Lower bitrate doesn't give a substantially shorter encoding time. I agree
that 50 MB/s is too low for normal use.
I would expect decrypting to be as fast a a rewrap, basically a copy.
For disk space, expect to need twice the size of the DCP, and maybe there
is a temporary file happening in the system disk, 100 GB may not be enough
for a feature length film. It certainly looks like a disk space problem.
If you only want to cut trailers (who adds a trailer inside a film dcp???)
or logos, you can also look if the logo is in a different reel, so you can
create the dcp using just the film reels.
To cut out logos, trailers or even scenes, my first try would be to create
a VF/supplemental DCP with just the timing changed, not a full rewrap. This
will probably generate an encoded dcp, but having the dkdm you can create
as many kdms as you want.

Useful info can be found in the log file. Please attach it.
Also, why do you want to decrypt encrypted DCP?

Dear Igor,
Thank you for the suggestion!
I had enough disk space, and the progress still stopped. What it made is
the attached one with the newest DCP-O-Matic.

Dear Carl, Dear Colleagues,
I have a new difficulty meanwhile I trying to decrypt a DCP.
I have received the DKDM to the leaf certificate, confirmed by Carl. You
can find attached:
· My certificate
· The DKDM
· The CPL file of the DCP
· Error message
I imported the DCP then added the DKDM, and started to make a new DCP. It
starts without any problem but around 70% it makes an error and stops. I
have tried to re-download the DCP via Aspera again, but had the same issue.
I have tried on 2 different Windows 10 computer one have Nvidia, other have
is AMD video card, with the same DCP-O-Matic 2.12.6. And on the AMD
computer there appeared the attached error message.
Could you please advise what to try? Or what can be the problem?
I have just updated the latest DCP-O-Matic to the Nvida computer, and
trying the same process again, we will see, what happens.
Thank you in advance!

Péter

Dear Carl,
Thank you for your quick answer!
Sure, please find attached the CPL.
I made the certificate in DCP-o-Matic KDM
generator, and modified inside
"Keys tabs", in the "Advanced"
section, the 3 first row, which is some kind
of description of the certificate. Than exported the certificate, and sent
to the lab who gave the (D)KDM. The interesting part is, that I have
already received a working (D)KDM, which I was able to decrypt an other
DCP, please find this DKDM attached as well.
Best regards,
Péter

have made a certificate,
which you can see attached, and received a (D)KDM for it,
you can see
attached as well.
How did you make the certificate?
Can you send the CPL file from your DCP?

certificate to the wrong chain
part? Leaf instead of root, or backward?
It looks like the KDM is made for the leaf
certificate, which is right.

Carl
