I can't check this myself, but I am confident it is the same issue (XML scheme) that
occurs also with Open DCP.
One of the Fraunhofer people once contacted me about an issue and expressed their willing
to correct issues with their easyDCP software once brought to their attention.
I should probably get back to them and see how far their commitment goes.

There are not many ways to create a formally screwed DCP with DCP-matic. To the extent
that currently, if a software player complains about a formal issue, I'd blame the
software player first.
There has been a similar issue once with the Doremi Cineplayer. Yes, if in doubt, try to
use dcp_inspect.

The version I have used is 2.10.2 git a23d6161d9, which I think is the current version
from the website.

I think that's an known issue with easyDCP Player, and I'm surprised they
didn't fix it yet. I can't look up earlier posts describing the problem from here.
Maybe someone else can.
I was thinking that might be the case, but I could not find any recent posts about it in
dcp-o-matic forums that I started to have a doubt.

I'm afraid I don't know what Resolve does. In theory they should be
the same, since there is a pretty-well defined mathematical operation
that should be followed to convert video to XYZ.
Someone else on the list might know...
