Absolutely no need to make speed conversions.
Projection systems that are not capable of playing 25 or 30 fps are
extremely rare, and has been for a few years already.

Don’t know if this will help, but…I had to rip a
BluRay to capture a
couple minutes of something for a scholarly demonstration (fair use). The
solution is to do the 30 to 24 fps conversion at that time.
In this instance I was using a Mac. I used MakeMKV for the de-encryption,
then Handbrake so I could get it to QuickTime for editing. The 30 to 24
transition was in Handbrake and it worked out fine.

@JFJ: Do yourself a favor and test your DCP with a software player like
NeoDCP (Trial version is free) or as cjflynn suggested, the free
DCP-O-Matic Player found in the test version (it needs a fast PC though).
It can help you save the trouble of booking a time with your local cinema
just to see it fail.

Oh man! Thanks a lot!!! I'll work on it ASAP.
I'll need to schedule another visit to the theater, but I'll let you know
the outcome.
Thank you very much!!!
