Hi Dave,
Only those that are muxed in with a video file, and only those that are
rendered using images (e.g. the ones commonly used with DVD or Blu-Ray).
So to add your own subs with v1 you would need to mux them with a video
using something like ffmpeg.
Cheers,
Carl

Thanks Carl, what kind of subs work with the stable
release?

Hi Dave,
You can't really do that with the "stable" release of DCP-o-matic,
but
there is a chance that v2 will do it. You can get it from here:
http://dcpomatic.com/v2.php
It will import existing DCPs and also handle subtitles in SRT or DCP XML
format. I'm afraid I don't know what software you can use to time your
subtitles... someone else on the list might have an idea.
Best,
Carl

I'm fairly new to the list, so I apologize if
this has been covered before. I have a non-timed subtitles text file and an existing
(non-encrypted)
DCP. Can I use
the existing MXF video and a create a subtitle
track to make a newly subtitled DCP? What (Mac) software would I use to create the
subtitle track
with? Thanks!
I do not have EasyDCP player to decode the MXF video, so burn in doesn't seem
possible. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi all,
I have a user who is reporting that he has a content file graded to Rec.
709, which he is converting to DCP using DCP-o-matic's Rec. 709 preset.
He reports that on a projector he sees pinker skin tones, and the entire
image seems a little desaturated.
He also tests on Easy DCP player and gets the following results with its
various colour conversions:
XYZ to RGB (P3): exactly as seen in the cinema (pinker skin tones,
desaturated)
XYZ to RGB (Rec 709): looks as it should
I'm a bit confused... does anyone have any idea what might be going on?
Thanks!
Carl
