As a side note, today I created a basic DCP with DOM 2.10.9 Mac and played it with the most current demo version of EazyDCP Player Mac. I did not get a warning and was able to play the file (as much as the demo allows).

There are not many ways to create a formally screwed DCP with DCP-matic. To the extent that currently, if a software player complains about a formal issue, I'd blame the software player first.

There has been a similar issue once with the Doremi Cineplayer. Yes, if in doubt, try to use dcp_inspect.

I think that's an known issue with easyDCP Player, and I'm surprised they didn't fix it yet. I can't look up earlier posts describing the problem from here. Maybe someone else can.

I was thinking that might be the case, but I could not find any recent posts about it in dcp-o-matic forums that I started to have a doubt.
