V1.x: ~/.config/dcpomatic
V2.x: ~/.config/dcpomatic2
Windows:
V1.x: c:/Users/fred/AppData/Local/dcpomatic
V2.x: c:/Users/fred/AppData/Local/dcpomatic2
OS X:
V1.x: ~/Library/Preferences/dcpomatic.com
V2.x: ~/Library/Preferences/dcpomatic.com/2
so everything should be ok in parallel.

It might be useful to test them in parallel...
Don't know for Linuxoids, but that's no problem for OS X and WIN releases, I have
both installed and update all the time. Don't know exactly how v1 and v2 handle their
individual prefs, though.
