There are two arguments on this, and I tend to think that Manuel's right (especially
since I am only making SMPTE versions.)
But another argument is that since some festivals might be in 'less than updated'
facilities or with Phase One projectors that may or may not ever be SMPTE compatible, and
since a 'once-a-year' user might not know/notice the nuance of this, InterOp is a
good default.
I'd suggest a pull down or decision buttons that have no default, but with a box
pointing out that a choice HAS to be made.
