On balance I am inclined to leave it. Feel free to ask the
EasyDCP folks what they think ;)
This may be a side effect of the IOP-SMPTE conversion. The Volume index is a thing of the
past and has not been used practically for more than 10 years. In the early days, they
used content split to many DVD-Rs and needed volume index to keep track of the media
sequence.
I have a contact to one of the EasyDCP product managers, maybe I can hint him towards this
issue.
