Hi Jim,
Is the 2.15.x test version of DOM compatible with
2.14.x Encode Servers? i.e.
if we want to encode a DCP using the test version, do we need to also switch
to 2.15.x Encode Servers during that encode, or will stable branch 2.14.x
Encode Servers play nicely with a master running 2.15.x?
They are not compatible, but they should work this out - a copy of
2.15.x. master should ignore 2.14.x encoding servers, and vice versa.
Having said that, I don't have an automated test for this so I can't be
100% sure it works as it should.
Any sign that an incorrectly-versioned encode server is processing a
frame from the "wrong" master is bad news!
