Hi all,
Indeed, that's the idea. But the menu option "Make DKDM for
DCP-o-matic" makes a DKDM targeted at DCP-o-matic's certificate so
there wouldn't be any use in sending the result to anybody else.
You can make somebody else a DKDM by adding them as a "screen" and
making a KDM in the usual way.
Kind regards,
Carl

As I understand it, DKDMs are meant to be sent to
someone else needing
to make KDMs without having access to your own root certificates, like
a distributor or even some festivals.

Hmm, when I create an encrypted DCP, and
afterwards 'Make DKDM for
DCP-o-matic' - I get a dialog with the current CPL data (or browse
for it) - I can click 'OK' - but where can I find that DKDM then?
There is no option to set a save location for the DKDM?! At least
not on my Mac...
At the moment that DKDM ends up on a list (stored in the config)
which then appears when you open the standalone KDM creator. Then
you can select it and make KDMs from it.
Do you have another use for those DKDMs? I mean other than
subsequently using them in the KDM creator?
Cheers,
Carl
