My understanding is that, unlike Escape, which
Was succored with 3 SMPTE and DCI compliant projectors
Is not longer being marketed
…the Screen X sides are not secured pictures.
I wish I had the time to research this…one would think they would like to get as many
movies out there using the technology. But, perhaps it isn’t secret sauce but that there
is something about stretching a picture across a distance without it looking silly. (It is
all a silly distracting contrast killing exercise to my pre-historic mind…but what the
heck…I am not the target audience.)

Hi, Carsten. Thanks a lot for the info!
To all, if you have any information about this projection technology, what kind of DCP it
uses or you have test DCP for ScreenX, please share it in this thread.

It must use separate DCPs for every projector. I know some details about Barcos Escape
(similar, but manufacturer/Barco driven). It may be that ScreenX only allows to use
content mastered by themselves. The problem, similar to IMAX, is a lack of public
information.
Both Escape and ScreenX uses synchronization between the three servers involved.

Hi all DCP-makers. Did anyone encounter
film-copies for Screen X or made them?
Does it use DCP or there is any another technology?
It uses single DCP for all of projectors or separate DCP for each projector? Is it 2D or
3D?
Thanks in advance!
