Has anyone had problems using NTFS on a mac with the
Tuxera driver?
I'm getting a write error at the end of the process, when the video
file is copied. Maybe it doesn't support the hardlinks tricks?
Also the performance is awful, I was concerned about the speed of the
codification, now I suspect it's NTFS fault.
I just recently received the Tuxera commercial NTFS driver with a harddisc that I bought.
I did not bother to install it so far, as the free NTFS-3G so far solved all my needs.
That said, I never rendered a DCP directly to an NTFS drive on my Mac. The increased
speed, though, should only be relevant when copying the finished DCP from an HFS+ drive to
the NTFS drive. I don't think the driver performance is relevant while DCP-o-matic
renders to that drive?
I might give it a try, though.
