Hi all,
DCP-o-matic 1.72.0 was released. This is mostly to fix a bug causing
crashes on analysing audio (and possibly also on DCP creation). We also
have:
Potential improvements in encoding speed, especially on fast clients.
Allow specification of video frame rate for cases where content headers are read
incorrectly.
Support for different KDM formulations: Modified Transitional 1, DCP
any and DCP specified.

Tiny nitpick: the latter are called "DCI Any" and "DCI Specific".

As this can be a source of failures - should we try to give hints to proper usage already
in the application, e.g. suggesting 'Traditional 1' for Interop, etc.?
One could simply add this to the text in the selection box, like 'Interop DCP
only' or 'SMPTE DCP only'?

Hi,
When I opened my DCP-o-matic 1.70.0 on linux-ubuntu-unity-flavor-12.04 a
warning displayed about new stable version, which is nice.
I clicked on the link and then :
- firefox opened in english instead of french,
- another window opened telling "firefox is already running, you must
first close the window or kill the process"
- anyway I tried to download 1.72.0 - still each dialog box in english -
and then "you don't have permission, you must choose another folder blabla"
Well it worked fine when I went "by myself" to the download page with
firefox ;-)
Did anyone notice that ?
