Can anyone tell me what system AMC theaters uses? What projector and what server?
I need to format a drive to deliver a dcp to them.

If it's for a single theater, talk directly to them.
If they don't know what you are talking about, be safe and go with ext2.

Indeed...there is only one answer for this...especially for professionals, and most
especially for non-professionals.
Follow. The. Standard. and you will have no problems.
Ext2, 128bit inode is the only answer.

AMC was all Sony at one time, but I am not sure wether they still are. Anyway, if you
format a drive (listen carefully) to a single MBR partition ext2 or ext3 with an inode
size of 128, you will be fine for every imaginable server.
