Hi all. At work we had 6 Intel NUC's that won't be used until sometime next year, so I thought they might be able to boost encoding performance a bit for my daily DoM usage. Having done benchmarking before with older hardware, I thought it would be nice to try the brand new DoM version with these rather new NUC's which isn't at all top of the line as they are i3 :) These are the results: DCP-o-Matic 2.6.3 benchmarking Host: DoM 2.6.3 64bit i7-2600 @3400GHz 8GB ram Win7 Enterprise 6x Network nodes: ---------------- Intel NUC 5i3RYK i3-5010U @ 2.1GHz Dual core (4 threads each) 4gb Ram DoM 2.6.3 64bit Live Server (on USB2 stick) Host and nodes connected via gigabit LAN through a Cisco SG-200-08 switch. Big Buck Bunny --------------- host only: 02:34 (5,3fps avg) 6nodes_only: 01:02 (13,3fps avg) host+6nodes: 00:48 (17,1fps avg) Very nice speedups in my opinion...
