Hi John (et al)
1) I’ve had the situation with a different GDC model where the USB connectors in the front
wouldn’t ‘see’ a drive, but putting it into one of the USB connectors in the rear worked~!
2) Does your drive have multiple partitions? I also have noticed that when a drive is
inserted and USB is selected from the Ingest pulldown, it presents a window that you can
usually just hit Return for (when your drive only has one partition.) But, if you have 2
or more partitions, it will label those in a seeming odd way. For example, I have a
Windows _something_ partition on one drive that also has an ext2 partition…on the list to
select from the ext2 partition is the 4th – of only 2 partitions. Selecting that 4th one
though, then hitting OK or Return opens the drive and ingesting can commence.
Hope one of those suggestions helps~!

I have doremi servers that load my content no issue.
I have one GDC sx3000 that I can't get it to load content at all. Any ideas or
suggestions on what I need to do?
Can you be sure the GDC is detecting your drive/format at all? Does the GDC
ingest manager show content at all on your disc? What machine/OS do you use to create and
copy the DCP?
The GDC SX3000 is on DOMs compatibility list, so I can only assume you are creating an
unusual DCP type, or, more likely, the ingest drive format works with a Doremi, but not
the GDC. This could be the case if you are using a Mac/HFS.
