Hi,
I'm new to this list. So first, thanks for coding DCP-o-Matic, a great job that helps
a lot.
And a question:
Would it be possible to reload an already made DCP not encrypted, and use DCP-o-Matic to
encrypt it and then generate KDMs?
Same question for a DCP which is already encrypted, may be with another software, and use
the symetric key to generate KDMs?

Both of those things are possible, but can't be done with
DCP-o-matic as it stands.
I am planning to add the option to import existing DCPs to
DCP-o-matic, so this type of thing would be fairly easy.

Hi Carl,
This is what I figured... ;)
It would be a shame to re-encode a video just to get some more KDMs in case you've
kept only the DCP directory to gain room and deleted all other files.
Importing and already made DCP would be great.
Access to the symetric key (DKDM) would be also great in case you want to use another
software to generate KDMs.
Only importing a DKDM without any DCP, just to generate KDMs would be also usefull.
Thanks in advance if you can fix this and make these features available.

Would you keep the already calculated hashes when rewrapping?
Right now my workflow is dcpomatic for easy escale and
encoding->opendcp for adding subtitles. Doing the hash again is a
pain.
