VLC 2.10 has recently been released into the wild and the DCP, or better, J2C MXF support
is back in it. Jean-Baptiste told me a while ago they were working towards inverse xyz and
improved playback performance after the initial experimental support in 2.01-2.03. If
anyone want's to try it out...

You can not open a CPL yet, only the video MXF, the extended file open dialog allows you
to open and play the audio file in sync (provided there are no separate offsets in the raw
files).
This should work for most single-reel DCPs made with DVD-o-matic.
