Hi Carl,
I keep getting this error message from dcp. It's the first time I've seen this message and I've been using DCP for over a year now..
I've tried on 2 different computers. Both PC and Mac, and both are giving me the same error message.
I'm in a bit of a crunch as I have ads that have to start playing at our theatre before tomorrow. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi all,
I'm trying to open DCPomatic Player 2 (version 2.12.5) on a mac i7 with
current software and it keeps hanging on "Verifying..." but then eventually
opens after about 5 minutes.
I've used it before and not had this issue. I just re-installed and same
issue. Hmm.
Anyone else with experiencing this?
Thanks!
Joaquin
Hello,
I’m running into an issue with a xml subtitle file. Dcp-o-matic (2.12.4) seems to be unable to read the & sign in the xml file.
In the XML file I have;
<dcst:Subtitle SpotNumber="13" TimeIn="00:07:01:05" TimeOut="00:07:07:18" FadeUpTime="00:00:00:00" FadeDownTime="00:00:00:00">
<dcst:Text Hposition="0.0" Halign="center" Valign="bottom" Vposition="12.5" Direction="ltr">When house & techno arrived in the UK,</dcst:Text>
<dcst:Text Hposition="0.0" Halign="center" Valign="bottom" Vposition="8.0" Direction="ltr">people started throwing illegal parties.</dcst:Text>
In DCP-o-matic I only see the second sentence (the first sentence is ignored);
people started throwing illegal parties.
Best regards,
Lennert
Got 1G lan, 1 master, 3 slaves. Slaves are E5-2687W’s @ 3 GHz.
Master is seeing all 3 slaves in encoding servers list (with threads info 48).
Source material is 12-bit tiffs with 9 MB each.
We’re seeing a lot less throughput than expected: ~ 6 fps. On the slaves status says ~ 0.1 - 0.2 fps respectively.
Log messages on the slaves’ status panes have a lot of “error during async_read ([numbers 10009 and 10054 mostly])” messages.
Occasionally logs list an encoded frame with roughly these numbers:
receive up to 23 seconds, encode 1 second, send up to 1 second.
What could we check?
Kind regards, Wolfgang
Hi,
I made dcp format for the cinema, but in the cinema they can't play it correctly. The colors are different (the picture below).
I don't have already any idea how to fix it.
Could you please help me?
Thank you!

This seems to be a Microsoft OneDrive issue, so for now, don't create DCP-o-matic projects within a OneDrive folder. Create projects/DCPs in a different directory, and if for some reason you want them to be synced with OneDrive, copy/move them to OneDrive later after finishing.

Hi there,
When you did File -> New and you saw this box:
https://dcpomatic.com/manual/html/screenshots/video-new-film.png
what does it say next to "create in folder" and what did you put in for
"film name" ?
Sorry for all the questions --- we are just trying to work out what is
going wrong.
All the best,
Carl

Could this be a specific onedrive issue?
Sounds as if he wants to overwrite an existing DCP, but instead of the DOM confirm overwrite dialog, onedrive does something on it's own?
Joel - can you try to create that project somewhere else, e.g. on your desktop?
- Carsten
Can you send me the metadata.xml file from inside your project's folder?
