I exported my footage on 8 bit YUV settings.

Hope to hear from you guys soon.
Thanks.

After completing a DCP I am receiving an error code (-36) regarding the
.mxf file when trying to transfer the DCP to another drive. This is what it
says:
"The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in

can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)"
I have also attached a picture of the error message.

I was just wondering - how can I see the status of the encode server in Ubuntu (using 14.04LTS) with the dcpomatic2_server? I can see it easily enough using Windows, but...
Also, is there a point to the dcpomatic2_server vs dcpomatic2_server_cli ? I set the dcpomatic2_server_cli to autostart and open in a terminal window outputting to stdout (so I can see it operating), so I am covered on that end, but they are just idle thoughts that I thought I'd ask.
Is anyone using the test version 2.6.10 to make content that is being played on-screen? Have there been any hiccups? I have installed 2.6.3, but I am suitably enticed by the idea of a up to 20% increase in encoding due to OpenJPEG changes.
Is there a consideration of being able to 'turn on' the master server as an encode server from within DCPoM? I didn't catch on until I looked at the log after my three computer test, to see that it had 22 lines, as opposed to the single machine one that contains thousands. I simply ran the encode server on the master as well as DCPoM itself, and that is not a problem (just put the encode server in the Startup folder), but I was simply wondering.
Finally, is there any way to find out what the overall fps for the encoding was (not necessarily per encoding server, although that might be neat) being stored in the log? I understand that I can simply calculate number of frames divided by number of seconds that encoding took, but I like to keep the logs to determine how it's all doing.
Note: none of this email is something that shows a problem. I'm just trying to get answers for people before I am asked, and they are questions that I would ask.
I do want to know the thing about the test version vs the stable version though. (Up to) 20% is not easily ignored, now is it?
Have a great day,
Leslie Hartmier

Yup. Now put down yer Keyboard and grant yourself some days of rest, Carl!
Great achievements on v2.x this year!
Merry Xmas, peaceful holidays, whatever applies, to everyone on this list (and to everyone else, too...).
