I’ve made a DCP of a 90 minutes documentary, But the projectionist, don’t succeed to ingest the DCP, he say that there’s to much files and folder on the disk. I’ve copied the whole folder of my DCP : Is it something normal that I’ve this result and then a Video Folder with another .mxf with the same size of the video .xmf file in the first folder ? [DCP-o-matic] DCP-o-matic 2.4.0 released

Hi all, DCP-o-matic 2.4.0 is now available for download from: http://dcpomatic.com/download It has the following changes: * Basic support for creation of VF DCPs from imported OV DCPs. * Handle non-UTF-8 .srt files better. * Add experimental packages for Fedora 22. * Fix various problems with subtitle timing when video frame rates change. * Fix various preview problems when changing DCP frame rate (#695 and #699). * Fix incorrect recognition of a folder of images due to filenames beginning with ._ * Fix failure to analyse audio of some combined video/audio files. * Fix subtitle errors in some cases. * Fix errors with .MTS files in some cases (#702). * Fix incorrect hint when making a 3D DCP. * Fix error on adjusting the audio map in some cases. * Fix for analysis of audio when the subject is later in the playlist than some other long piece of content. * Fix encoding server shortcut on Windows. * Fix failure to display audio analyses in some cases. * Fix crash when re-making certificates after deleting existing ones (#690). * Fix crash on adding an empty folder as content (#691). * Fix non-operational image sequence frame rate dialogue. * Speculative fix for hangs at the end of encodes in some cases. * Fix subtitle timing when trimmed. * Add a new stereo to 5.1 upmixing algorithm (Upmixer B). * Allow configuration of default standard (Interop or SMPTE). * Speed up checking of existing image data when resuming transcodes. * Add a frame counter to transcode progress (#111). * Add export button for certificates. * Display peak audio value in the audio tab if an analysis has been done. * Add option to analyse audio automatically when it is added (#673). * Mark SCP as being the protocol for Doremi as well as AAM (#678). [DCP-o-matic] testing 4K 3D

Hi all. Have anyone experience making 4K 3D DCP's`with DOM? I just made one (4K 3D 24fps) in v2.3.0 I know there isn't a standard just yet, but DOM seems to pack it correctly, so I wanted to test our ICMP's as Barco claim they can do 4K 3D 24fps. The DCP played fine (Barco DP4K-19B + ICMP w/4K-60fps, 4K-3D License). However, I couldn't exactly see if it was 4K or just uprezzed 2K... I'll do a A-B test soon to test that out :) However, I noticed something peculiar when checking the 'hints' box in DOM. It gave this error: "You are using 3D content, but your DCP is set to 2D" I thought it might be because 4K and 3D was checked at the same time, so I set it to 2K instead, but the message was still there. I added two image folders, one with LEFT images and one with RIGHT images. They have been properly selected under 'Content -> Video' as "3D left only" and "3D right only". I've also ticked "3D" under 'DCP - > Video'. As stated earlier, the DCP played back fine (in 3D), so this might just be a small bug. Best regards, Jonathan

[DCP-o-matic] Live server image issue for both 1.83.0 and 2.3.0

I've downloaded both live server images. When I boot either of them, the .bash_profile attempts to launch /usr/bin/dcpomatic{2}_server_cli. However, the server doesn't appear to be installed in the image. Can someone double-check me on this? -David

[DCP-o-matic] Old versions of DVD-o-matic still available somewhere?

Hello everyone, yes, I'm still using DVD-o-matic (version installed locally is 0.132 git) - partly because I could now probably operate it in my sleep, partly because I know the results definitely work in the local cinema for which they are intended. As I'll soon be moving to a new computer, I had planned to reinstall the old DVD-o-matic (and slowly start a few tests with DCP-o-matic) - but it seems I lost the installation exe. Are old versions of DVD-o-matic still available somewhere/somehow? Could anyone supply me with the 0.132 or something close to it? Thanks in advance, Mike.
