Hi.
I work on MAC and on PC. I make the DCPs with the MAC and when they are finished I pass
them to the PC and from the PC I transfer them to the external NTFS hard disk to deliver.
Could you copy them directly from the MAC to the NTFS hard drive? I have the NTFS for Mac
application.

Hi Jordi,
You can copy your DCP from your Mac without trouble.
But it will copy hidden files too (your files and folders with a dot at the
beginning).
If you find a way not to copy them or to delete them, your copy will be
"cleaner".
You can try EXT for Mac. It will not create a proper ext3 partition with
the correct inode size but you will have a DCP copy that you can deliver
safely.
NTFS can give data corruption e.g. when the drive is unplugged during the
copy.

You can. Make sure that NTFS drive uses an MBR partition scheme. I prefer
Tuxera NTFS driver for the Mac. It will also allow to format drives with
NTFS using the standard Mac disk utility. There is an option to choose MBR
vs. GUID/GPT partition scheme when initialising the disc. Make sure you
select MBR. No drives larger 2TB.
