I should clarify. The whites from the mid to approximately 80 IRE would be pushed up. The brightest areas of white, roughly 85-100 IRE would not be affected. Same with the blacks. Rough estimations. It would depend a bit on the source. My understanding is that at the ends of brightness (very dark and bright) changes in the gamma curve used have the least effect. i did ask if the whites where ever meant to be blown (its a found footage mockumentery) and the answer was no. About the sound issue, did you change the frame rate of your film? (e.g. from 25 to 24 fps) Carl, what is the process used to change the speed of the sound? Carsten, Yes it was -1db, I was going to max of -12db tand this seemed correct but I think I miinterpreted something.

Cool, so do I use different version numbers so it created multiple DCP directories. Still takes a few hous to ingest off USB2 but guess if I do a lot ofd this getting one of the fast interfaces would be a good idea. Dont suppose you know the cheapest way to do this?

It has a CUR slot, its a DCP-2K4, we just got it new for a very good price. Was wondering what the cheapest CUR setup was, I saw a quite cheap one that used 2.5" droves.

I usually suggest to create two or three DCPs with different audio levels. You can name them accordingly, att6 att12, att18 etc. Then try them at the cinema to find a suitable setting (and ask the cinema for their average fader setting for testing).
